Poster auctions

MILLON's Poster Auction department was created in 2015. It offers both live and live catalogued sales, with a selection of posters from different movements, including Alfons Mucha's Art Nouveau posters published by Moulin Rouge and Belle Epoque posters.

We also sell tourism posters in collaboration with Air France and SNCF, and Broders' Marseilles harbour liners.

Finally, film posters, notably those by Felix Labisse, modern posters by Jules Cheret, sports posters, advertising posters by Leonetto Cappiello, cabaret posters by Toulouse-Lautrec and art posters by Picasso and Chagall are also on sale.

Located in Paris on rue de la Grange Batelière, a stone's throw from the Hôtel Drouot, our experts and auctioneers apply their expertise and the quality of their work. The department is headed by Eugénie Provost, with the watchful eye of Frédéric Lozada, a leading specialist in posters.

To reach collectors from the four corners of the world, at least two sales a year are organised:

● Catalogued sales dedicated to an artist such as Picasso or Chagall present a selection linked to a single artist. These sales can also be organised around a poster theme: tourism posters, sports posters, advertising posters, film posters or art posters.

● Online sales showcase posters at affordable valuations. They are ideal for amateurs and allow your posters to be presented in an attractive way. These sales take place on the Internet. They give unlimited access to the catalogue and auctions from all over the world.
